Made the flap pushrods from one of the 18" pieces of AT6-058X5/16 tube supplied.
Initially I tried to drill the tube #3 (for 1/4"-28 tap) in the drill press but wasn’t happy with the result. There isn’t much material here for the threads so I wanted the holes to be exactly concentric to the outside surface of the tube. Fortunately I have access to a machine shop, so I went there to drill and tap the holes on a lathe.
Installed the RH flap pushrod and enlarged the hole in the fuselage skin to ensure sufficient clearance when the flap is lowered. I installed the additional AN960-416 washer allowed to move the lower rod end inboard.
