Marked out and drilled the holes in the tracks of the ground adjustable rudder pedals.
Temporarily assembled the pedals to the tracks and checked the fit on the fwd floor panel.
Drilled out the two rivets in the lower firewall angle which interfere with the rudder pedal tracks and machine countersunk the holes for flush rivets.
Machine countersunk the inboard hole in each F-802G-1 fwd corner angle for flush rivets.
It was at this stage that we realized that it would actually be a major PITA to adjust these pedals once the plane was flying. As my brother Nico and I will eventually both be flying the plane it is important to be able to adjust the pedals without too much hassle.
We thus decided that we'll get the in flight adjustable pedals the next time we place an order with Van's.
