Brief Description: Bent and installed the upper longerons
Bent the upper longerons as per instructions.
We used a chalk line on the floor to measure the displacement of each bend as indicated on DWG 66. Bending the longerons was a lot easier than anticipated and they fit perfectly first time round.
Deburred the two F-804N-1 bulkhead caps and cockpit rails and Clecoe'd them in position.
Initially the forward bend mark in the longerons did not align with the center of the notch in the cockpit rails, so we trimmed the forward end of the longerons to match the angle of the firewall. This allowed the longerons to be moved forward slightly centering the bend in the notch.
Cleco'd the F-845-1, F846-1 and F-848-1 longeron gussets in position.
Clamped the upper longerons flush to the top edge of the side skins for drilling.
