Brief Description: Installed leading edges and tanks
Riveted the leading edge ribs to the main spar. We used LP4-3 blind rivets on the outboard ribs where there is no doubler, and LP4-4 on the inboard ribs. We decided to go with blind rivets here due to the limited access.
Riveted the leading edge skins to the main spars with a pneumatic squeezer and installed the fuel tanks.
Once the tanks were in position we Clecoed the top skins on and marked the area to be filed for the scarf joint.
Completed both scarf joints and primed them as well as the area where the outboard and inboard skins overlap.
