Brief Description: Match drilled the wing root fairings
Used the tool we made to joggle the aft wing root fairings.(They came out really nice)
Trimmed the Fwd wing root fairings +/- 1/8" on the inboard side so that we could Cleco them to the wings. Formed the leading edge of the fairings around a 1 1/2" pipe and Cleco'd them to the wings. Marked the fairings 3/16" from the side of the fuselage for final trimming by using a spacer block. After trimming the RH aft fairing on the 3/16" mark and fitting it to the wing with the rubber gap seal, we decided to reduce the gap on the remaining fairings to 1/8" to get a tighter fit.
Match drilled the fairings to the wings as per instructions and test fitted the rubber gap seals using some talcum powder.
