Brief Description:  Rudder stops and cables

Trimmed the rudder stops to obtain the desired deflection.

We somehow trimmed the LH rudder stop too short and decided to remake it. After getting the new one exactly right things went wrong when we tried to machine countersink the holes. The bottom holes were too close to the web of the angle and the machine countersink cut into it. We thus had to make a new one again, and as they say "Third time lucky".

Riveted the nutplates to the cable supports.

We had previously riveted the rudder cable exit fairings to the aft side skins. This turned out to be a mistake as the cables cant be installed with the fairings in place! Drilled out the four rivets in each fairing and removed them from the fuselage.

Installed the snap bushings and rudder cables in the fuselage as per instructions.

Reamed the holes in the Aileron Bracket-Outboard and Flap Actuator Bracket. We'll only install the flap motor and Actuator Bracket once the cockpit floors are in place.
