Brief Description: Riveted the forward fuselage sub structure
The following parts were riveted today:
Gear towers to the forward floor through the aft corner angles only as per instructions. Throttle quadrant bracket to the left gear tower. Forward and aft upper braces and installed the bolts. Mid cabin braces to the gear towers and installed the bolts. Stiffeners and nutplates to the forward bagage floor. Nutplates and F-866D mounting plate to the lower forward baggage bulkhead.
We then match drilled the firewall to the forward floor, machine countersunk the nine center holes in the F-801D-1 lower angle, dimpled the matching holes in the forward floor, applied fuel tank sealer to the center of the F-801D-1 lower angle and riveted the firewall to the forward floor through the outboard holes only as per instructions.
Clecoed the forward bagage floor, side and bulkheads in position.
