Brief Description: Installed LH tank baffle and inspection cover
Cleaned all sealing surfaces with MEK and placed a bead of sealant for the rear baffle with a large syringe. Also placed a heavy glob of sealant in each corner of the baffle where it meets the end ribs and a very thin smear around the rivet holes on the back flanges of the interior ribs.
Dropped the baffle in position and installed the skin to baffle Clecos after ensuring that the holes were perfectly aligned.
Installed the closed end blind rivets at the top and bottom of the baffle to rear rib-flanges with sealant.
Placed a thin smear of sealant around each Z-bracket attachment hole and installed the brackets with closed end blind rivets dabbed in sealer.
Installed the Z brackets on the end ribs and set the rivets with a rivet gun and bucking bar.
Squeezed the skin to baffle rivets with a pneumatic squeezer.
Scuffed and cleaned the inspection cover and installed it with sealant.
