Cut and shaped the stiffeners for the elevators and clecoed them to the skins. Drilled all holes to size. Once again, wanted to get the skins fully drilled, deburred, dimpled etc before alodining and priming. This is not the process in the Vans' manual as they do not include alodining and priming in their manual. My decision meant that I had to effectively construct the whole elevator ahead of riveting the stiffeners. Will see if this has any unexpected complications when we get to final assembly.
