Hooray!! It all fits together. And what's more, it all looks pretty good. The elevators go up and down. Was able to drill the main centre support holes without using the "guide" advised by Vans. Was able to carefully slide a 1/4" drill through the bearing and mark the bell cranks. Centre popped the marked points and then drilled in two stages. All worked out well and elevators move very smoothly. Had to remove a section of the spar to allow full specified movement of the elevators.
