first step of the project was to build a sutable work bench. I chose the design form the EAA web site http://www.eaa1000.av.org/technicl/worktabl/worktabl.htm and found it quite easy to construct although somewhat more expensive than the site indicates (blame Australian prices for that). Built it on wheels to allow easy moving around my limited garage space. Should still be able to get two cars in if necessary although for most times the cars will live in the driveway. Still need to tidy up my existing workbench and try to soundproof the compressor a bit - don't want to annoy the neighbours more than necessary.
