Brief Description: Riveted #1&7 Fuel Tank Ribs and Clecoed Baffle
Riveted #1 and #7 Left Fuel Tank Ribs. Installed and torqued the Vent Line and Fuel Flop Tube. Safety wired nut on Flop tube. Installed the Nose Reinforcement plates on the inboard rib. and painted on some Proseal. Looks messy, but sealed... I hope.
Prosealed and clecoed Baffle on Left Tank. This was easy using a large syringe to dispense the Proseal. BUTTTTT, then it was tough and I messed up a lot. The 41h pop rivets just did not align and go in the holes easily. It took some effort and two of them snapped above where it should have. I just used pliers and broke the stems off flush with the heads. The Z-Brackets went on easily AFTER I filed down the head of my good rivet puller. The other one for tight spaces wasn't working. I couldn't get Z #1 and #7 installed. The holes just weren't lining up. I'm going to let the Proseal set up firm and then used the reamer to "adjust" the holes a tiny bit.
