Brief Description: Right Wing - Match Drilled all Skins, Assembled LE
Match Drilled Bottom Skins.
Smoothed all edges on LE Skin. Used LE Stand to assemble the LE Skins and Ribs (except inboard most rib). Not too bad this time since the ribs were prepped (edges and flutes) first. Then clecoed this assembly to the Right Main Spar. This was easier than I remember the Left Wing being. Can't think of any reason it was easy to install. The only sketchy part is where the clecoes attach the LE Ribs through the Main Spar. The are angled slightly due to interference with the Main Ribs.
Started fitting Inboard Rib to LE. Need to measure a few more ways to make sure the holes through the rib are not too close to the edge or web of that rib. I fluted it to straighten it out. Then drew a midline down the side. It looks like if I put it flush with the LE Skin, the holes will be too close to the web. Maybe it needs to "stick out" a little to avoid this? Will check gap from there to the next rib (Fuel Tank Rib).
