Brief Description:  Began Riveting Left Flap

Dimpled all parts for both Flaps. Used the bench mounted dimpler to do the thin ends of the ribs. Used the pull dimpler to do the inboard most holes on the top Skin.

Began riveting left Flap. Much tougher than expected and several mistakes on my part.

Riveted reinforcement plates and nutplates to inboard Rib and Spar for both Flaps. Added the doubler plate to the Spar as mentioned before. Riveted inner RIbs to bottom rear Spar. Built stand to hold Flaps securely during riveting. Worked well. Riveted inner ribs to top and bottom Skins. Forgot the top row on the inboard Rib. Had to used MK319BS rivets later for all of them, and the two (2) called out on the drawings. Riveted the top and bottom Skins to each other. Only one nice dent as the rivet gun walked a little. No way to remove it easily at this time. The rivet under the nutplate was almost inaccessible. Managed to set it, but it's not pretty.... Probably should just used an MK319BS on the right Flap. Ordered 10 more MK319BS from Vans.

Riveted the Spar to the inner Ribs. Riveted the two reinforcement Plates to each other. The last three holes near the radius on the angle did NOT align well with the inner Rib. Had to ream them and set them.

Next:
- Set all the Spar to Skin and Skin/Hinge on the Left Flap.
- Start riveting the Right Flap.
