Brief Description: Match Drilled Left Tank and Fabbed Stiffeners
Finally got the Left Fuel Tank Skin clecoed to all the ribs and Baffle. Then match drilled all the Rib and Baffle Holes. Opened up all edge holes, used to mount the tank, to #19. Countersunk all the Skin holes that will be riveted to the Baffle.
Fit Tank on Wing and ensured there was no clearance between the Tank and LE Skins. Clecoed through the Spar Nutplates. Match drilled all the Doubler Plate holes to #19.
Match drilled all the Z Brackets to the Main Spar from inside the Main Wing cavity. They looked good when I removed them later. Almost centered... Not sure why all the people say to only do the 6 outboard brackets. I did all 7. Maybe I'll find out later..
Trimmed and smoothed out both sets of Tank Stiffeners. They turned out very nice. Wish everything was this easy!
PHEW. Still tons more on this wing. Then I need to get the Right Wing to this point, so that I can do most of the Pro Seal (came in the mail today) at one time....
