Brief Description: Left Tank Pressure Test, Installed Left LE, Began
Began installing the Left LE. Used LP 4-3 pop rivets on 3 outboard most rivets. Ordered 4-4 rivets for the inboard 3 ribs. Riveted all LE to Main Spar Flange.
Began the pressure test again on the left tank Finally got the balloon to seal by making a short tube attached to the vent fitting (using the proper nut and fitting). Then electrical taped several layers on the tube and then taped the balloon to this built up area. Sprayed it down well with soap and water. This is how I found the leak at the balloon and then a small one at the quick fitting I made to attach to the vent. 12 hours and holding....
Began the Right Wing while I wait for the LP 4-4 to arrive. Taped the seams to help keep aluminum shavings out of the cracks. Countersunk all the flange nutplate -3 holes for the rivets that hold the nutplates to the spar flange and web (5 on the web). Final sized all the -8 and -6 holes for the nutplates.
