Brief Description: Fuel Sender Arm (OOPS), Move Left Fuel Sender, CS
Cut the Left Fuel Sender Arm per the drawings. WAYYYY too short with this dimension. Ordered SS Piano Hinge from Aircraft Spruce to replace the arm. Warner doesn't sell them anymore to Vans apparently. Emailed Warner and sent pics to ask their suggestions. I used a coathanger to come up with a better bend scheme to get more range out of the unit. But need to do the final bend with the Baffle, Reinforcement Ring, and Tank Access Plate clecoed in place.
Drilled a hole in the Baffle to accomodate the Left Fuel Sending unit. Match drilled the Reinforcement Ring and Tank Access Plate with the Baffle. Installed the nutplates on the ring (per the directions). These will be sealed with the Access Plate. I did NOT open up the Access to the full diameter (see pic below). If I ever need access to this part of the Tank, I can enlgarge it at that time.
Countersunk both Fuel Caps to accept skin dimples.
