Brief Description: Rivet Rudder and Glue AEX Wedge
Installed last rib rivet using a blind rivet.
Put countersink cage with bit in drill press.
Made simple ship using a scrap piece of wood and the wedge. Cut with the band saw. Then match drilled holes in the wood for the wedge. Opened up every countersink in the wedge to be consistent. A rivet would sit .008 to .010 below the surface consistently with this setup. The skin edge sits pretty flush (not perfect) with this new countersink setup.
Then applied POR15 Fuel Tank Sealant (single part) to AEX wedge. Put wedge in trailing edge and clecoed angle aluminum. Alternated sides of rudder for clecoes. Put a laser level on it and it's dead straight so far.
