Brief Description:  Prepped and Primed all Rudder parts

Match drilled the Counterweight and CW Tray. Added an "extra" hole by drilling weight from wrong end of tray. But no issue with clearances so just smoothed the edges of the hole and moved on. Do not have a #10 dimpler, so used the bolt as the male die. Countersunk the lead weight. Used this as the female die. Turned out fine, not perfect, but fully functional.

Remeasured edge clearance on Rudder Horn Brace. I was using a -4 rivet yesterday to determine edge distance, but these holes use a -3 rivet. Clearance is marginal but acceptable.

Match drilled a 4' Aluminum angle to the wedge to use later with riveting the trailing edge. This would have been MUCH easier to do with the skin BEFORE dimpling. Oh well, it'll work.

Countersunk both sides of the wedge. Tricky to get right. I'm not sure there is a way to get a good countersink on both sides without enlarging the hole a bit. Looks good though and should fit great.

Countersunk R-00001 Plate to attach the -3 rivets to hold the counterweight nutplates.

Finished prepping all Rudder parts. Primed all parts. Inadvertantly scuffed outside of Counterweight skin, so went ahead and primed it knowing that this primer will most likely need to come off during final external painting.

Had to Thin the edges of the Rudder Horn to fit in the small cutout in each skin.
