Prepped and primed all Vertical Stabilizer parts. I used the Wax, degreaser on some parts followed by Acetone to clean the parts. Used the maroon scotchbrite pads to abrade the surfaces. Then followed up with Akzo CA-116 Primer with Harbor Freight spray gun. This was my first attempt. A couple of runs, some minor orange peel looking places, some light spots, some bare spots.... But goes on super easy after adjusting the sprayer setting. Used MEK to clean up gun and mixing cups. Strung up the parts to spray. They really move around a ton. Am I spraying too close? It started raining halfway through, so I closed the windows in the garage. It stayed hazy in there and my eyes are a little irritated. I used a good respirator and smelled NOTHING!
