Brief Description:  FIRST ENGINE START!

Started the engine for the first time! No major issues really. The engine did not like cranking at full rich but cranked fine at about half lean. A problem with not being able to get full rich mixture was traced to a screw in the throttle attachment in the cockpit sticking out and blocking the mixture travel. Shortening the screw should fix that. No fuel leaks were found. A small oil leak was found around a screw on the front of the motor where I had to undo it to install a baffle support. No other leaks were seen.

Oil temp and oil pressure were in normal ranges. Voltage ran high at around 17 but that is likely because the voltage regulator needed adjusting. I will be ordering a new one with overvoltage protection so we did not adjust the old one. The elecctrical system worked perfect! Engine monitor worked excellent as well. Fuel pressure did not read but that is because we didn't have it programmed in correctly.

Filled the brakes, fixed the hanger door, and finished up wiring the engine monitor in the morning prioir to cranking it that afternoon.
