Began fitting the top cowling to the plane. Placed the spinner backplate on the crank shaft to locate the proper fore and aft position. Drew a line 4 inches back around the front skin and used it to locate the trim line on the cowling. Used a die grinder to rough cut and then a scotch bright wheel for the final fit. Got a pretty good fit! Left the cowling cheek area long to allow for cheek fitting after the lower cowling half is fit as well.
