Tonight I riveted the HS-412PP and HS-413PP hinge brackets to the rear spar.
This was pretty straightforward except for the rivet length on the HS-413 brackets. The plans called for -5 rivets but when I took at look at how much rivet was sticking out the bottom I didn't think there was any way I could squeeze it without bending it. So, I decided to cut the rivet just a little. Blurry picture three shows the cut rivet compared to the full size rivet. After being set it measured pretty nicely in my handy Avery rivet guage, so I think it's OK. I hope tech counselor agrees!
I also started the bolts in HS-411. I need to buy a torque wrench tomorrow to finish them off.
