Sanded all the Superfil on the cowling and firewall/ boot cowl attachment. Applied more Superfil to the inlet, cowl bumps and the nose of the cowling. Cut inch long pieces of angle aluminum for the glare shield attachments and started drilling and clecoing. I will use one more than the manual says and will have the two aluminum tubes attach to two of them so I can fold the cowling down and easily attach it to the glare shield again. Drilled the holes for the Dynon serial port. I will just mount it to the back of the panel for simplicity.I have some larger rivits that will be countersunk and will not be very visible on the face of the panel. Hope to paint the panel and install it permanently soon. Then I can get to wiring seriously.
