The aircraft was inspected by the DAR ( Designated Airworthiness Representative) and passed so I now have an airworthiness certificate and can start flying off my 40 hour test period! Lots of paperwork and a thourough preflight and then some more paperwork and I was done. I plan on the first flight tomorrow if the weather is good. I put on the tail access covers in preparation for the flight even though some fly with them off the first time, they seemed a bit large to go without. I will paint them at a later date. I can't believe I am finally ready to fly. A long time coming, but shorter than most I hear.
