Brief Description:  Fiberglass

Got home at 3am and was out building at 10 am. Lots of stuff done today and lots of pictures. Started by hot gluing the boot cowl to the firewall to keep it in place while I removed the upper cowl and drilled holes for rivets when it is permanently mounted. Cut out the exhaust hole. Wrong place by about 6 inches so I had to fiberglass over the giant opening making it normal. Lots of sanding and fitting but it looks good now. Superfil will make it perfect. Countersunk the camlock holes better for a good final fit. Cut out the vent NACA vents and sanded and Superfilled for final sanding. After fitting the throttle cable I noticed there was not enough room so I fabricated an extension and hysoled and riveted it in place. Cut the left butt rib closeout and filed it down smooth. Painted the seat pans where they will be seen with the panel grey paint.
