Started applying the right wing tapes to cover all hard surfaces the fabric rests on. Got some 1" tape off of Ted which made the process go much faster. Cutting the 2" stuff in half sucked, and it was difficult to make it perfect. Did some heat forming on the trailing edge and used two 4" tapes on the leading edge which went back under far enough to cover the fiberglass leading edge end. Almost finished. Talked to Joe about the latex paint today, and decided to go with latex primer instead of the sprayed on coat of polybrush. The fumes are bad, and the health risk is not worth it. I would rather paint it every year than die from MEK.
