The oil cooler (from JEGS, per the plans) needed to be offset a bit to pilot's left to ensure equal clearance between the 2-into-1 exhaust pipes. I cut a semi-circle in the cooler flange in order to have clearance for the oil drain plug. My oil temp sensor is on a block off plate on the front of the engine. I added 3/16 to the pan flange length per another builder's suggestion. I'll probably go back later and trim any excess. I've made the upper pan flange for the cooler, but it's not attached yet. I'll wait until I see how the cowling fits. The blue painters tape on the hose is to remind me to tighten the fittings later!
