Per Brian Heinmiller's suggestion, I've fashioned my cutoff from 0.25" x .035 tubing with multiple bends. On the valve I have a male 10-32 rod end bearing fastened to the valve arm.. The tubing is tapped for 10-32. On the panel, it routes through a couple of 0.25" snap bushings. I'll use a round knob from McMaster with a 10-32 stud. I'll cut the tubing to fit once I have the tank and panel permanently installed.
