I now have 50 hours of flight time on the plane. Thankfully, I've had very few squawks to deal with. Turns out my Collins transponder, which I purchased via eBay years ago, is not useable. Serves me right for not testing it immediately after purchase....relying on the seller's promise that it was "working when removed." My next one will come with a guarantee and yellow tag! I'm also working on fixing a slightly heavy right wing. I want to get my rudder tab set properly first though before I mess around with squeezing the aileron.
Some performance specs....
Static RPM WOT 3100 rpm (with standard Sensenich "climb" prop)
Rate of climb with 150 lb pilot, 60 deg ambient - 700 fpm at 3410 rpm
Level flight at 3410 rpm, 135 mph
EGT's 1382 left, 1314 right
CHT's 306 left, 318 right (sensor is under a cylinder stud, not the spark plug, so add 50 deg to these figures for plug temperature)
Cruise at 3270 rpm, 128 mph
Fuel burn is averaging 4.5 GPH so far.
