I didn't have good luck using Van's RV rubber wing root seal on my Sonex. The lip on one wing was too short. The other wing was ok, but I couldn't get the seal to stay in place. Per Dan Weseman's (SP?) suggestion I used gray silicone caulk. We'll see how it holds up.
Kip Laurie and Ivan stopped by to check out my Sonex. Kip flew the Kolb, and Ivan arrived in his single seat gyrocopter. We took a quick flight to a private strip 5 miles away and then returned. Cool stuff. Kip is building a Waiex about 20 miles away.
