Installed the tail and canopy. Pretty straightforward as they had been final fitted earlier and put away for safekeeping. The tail tips have been repainted using a friend's HLVP gun. It's an improvement over my previous attempt with a PreVal aerosol can. Drilled holes for the dataplate, but I'll need to weigh the plane, engrave the plate, and rivet it later prior to inspection. The top cowling half is in the basement for a small fiberglass reinforcement patch. I also added some weatherstripping around the rear canopy seal -- used Aircraft Spruce #05-00897, and it worked well, after cutting it in half. (It's a dual channel, like a "B" in profile and I cut to only use 1/2 of the width.)
