I attached the coils per plans. Made the standoffs out of round rather than square tubing. I decided not to use nutplates on these due to the weight of the coils, plus these are low enough that you can reach the nuts inside the cockpit if needed. P.S., the starter relay has since been removed as it's not necessary -- the Aerovee starter has an integral relay. I reused the already installed nutplates as a mount for a large capacitor to muffle alternator noise.
