I shortened the control stick by 1" to better clear the air vents, as I thought the PTT button would hit the vent. A bit of a mistake, as the PTT button top slips partially inside the stick, and only adds about 1/2" to the stick length. I probably should have only shortened by 1/2".Routed the PTT wiring thru the control stick. I used a miniature stereo plug and inline jack as a quick disconnect on the control assembly. Had to drill out a wiring pathway in the stick and then fish the wire thru...a bit of a challenge. Wrapped the wiring so it could flex a bit throughout the range of stick movement.
