Brief Description:  Panel layout

I spent lots of time over several days researching pros/cons of various instruments. I originally thought I'd make it easy on myself and go with the Stratomaster. I opted for traditional analog gauges and the GRT EIS. The analog gauges are more legible and easier to read in all light conditions. I thought about going with the flight instrument options on the GRT, but analog gauges are quicker to understand than interpreting a numeric readout. Given I'm still a student pilot, I don't need to add to my cockpit workload. So, L to R, I have a Lowrance GPS, Mio Mitac PDA w/GPS, Airspeed, Altimeter, VSI, skid ball, Micro Air transceiver, intercom, GRT EIS. Underneath is a Collins TDR-950 transponder.
