The Andair Fuel Selector was installed on a new fuel value bracket fabricated from a 0.04" piece of metal as the Van's F-883 was too narrow. A 0.04”spacer was fabricated to fill the gap between the console and bracket.
The Andair Fuel Pump was installed behind the firewall for ease of installation of the fuel pipe and more importantly to allow plenty of space when installing the wing bolts. Click Bond nutplates were installed under the forward floor F-822 to allow the pump to be screw securely to the floor.
Hard aluminium tubing was used owing to give more protection to this important fuel pipe.
