The installation of the engine mount was epic! It took a whole afternoon. The engine mount holes were 1/8" out of alignment. The holes in the firewall were step drilled a drill a size at a time in an attempt to limit metal particles building up between the firewall’s engine mount supports. Between drills the hole was filled inwards to pull the holes in line with the engine mount. The final drill was 0.372 and a reamer was used to enlarge the hole to 0.375.
