Note the Fuel Pick Up needed bending around the DS Nutplates. On the other side is a Fuel Flap.
A flop tube was considered but since no serious aerobatics were anticipated this difficulty was left out. There should be 15secs of fuel in the fuel lines in any case. Spitfires managed without them!
The Inner Fuel Capacitor Plate is installed with small cut-outs around the Stiffener Plates to ensure the called for clearance.
The third inner rib was installed with a sealant poorly mixed, it did set finally. For peace of mind as much old sealant was removed as possible and then a fresh seal put on top. .
