Brief Description: Rivet Spacing to edge...too close
The Empennage Attach Parts: VS-702 Front Spar to F-884 Attach Plate (with F-885 Spacer in-between) had a problem owing to the bottom of the spar being cropped too much, the line of four rivets are only 0.18" from the edge of the bottom on the Front Spar. Fortunately, Vans’ suggested an extra three rivets be placed between the bottom two rows; not an unusual problem they say.
