The Fitting of the Canopy Skirt was as per the instructions and relatively straight forward. Though, Sikaflex was used to adhere the skirt to the Plexiglas and rivets were used to fix the skirt to the frame. Rivet holes were also used between the skirt and the frame to ensure positioning using English Pin Clamps; later rivets were installed but in hindsight this was unnecessary. The inside of the skirt was painted with primer prior to fitting the skirt. The Forward Top Skin F-821 was cut away in to allow the skirt to be snug to the Screen Support WD-814, see picture. The ledge between the top of the skirt and the Plexiglass will be filled after painting with a mastic material.
