The GPS aerials needed to be fitted on the rear deck at the front of the F-807 bulkhead behind the passenger seat. To ensure the clearance for them was good the Canopy Frame needed fitting so the Slide Rails etc. needed fitting. The Slide Rails where cut 1/16” longer than call for to allow for some margin of error. Two templates were made to set the rail width correctly and model aircraft clamps were used for holding the rails to the cockpit rail.
