The Battery will be mounted on the firewall to give the shortest run distance for the battery / starter wire. This is important since the IO-360 192hp engine has high compression heads. Even with an engine weight similar to the standard IO-36O 180hp engine and a MT light weight propeller there was a concern regarding the C of G. The remote transponder for the Garmin 750 and the Mountain High cylinder, a total weight of 11lbs, will be mounted on the rear battery tray. The rough C of G calculations indicate that this will give a good mid-range C of G.
