The F-856 Spacer was incorrectly formed; internet builder sites indicate that other builders have experienced the same problem. The relieved area around the Seat Back Support was relieved further to allow the spacer to fit; an unusual error in the kit. Also, the drilling of the holes resulted in slight misalignment, again experienced by other builders. As this part was a spacer it proved unimportant, the cockpit rail was unaffected.
