Brief Description: Fuel Tank Fittings and Fuel Senders
Drilled hole in R Tank Inboard Rib for the Vent Line. Cut, deburred and flanged and installed the 1/4" aluminum Vent Line for the L Tank. The R Tank fittings are done. Fuel Pick-Up and Vent Line ProSealed upon final assembly. An Anti-Rotation Bracket was riveted in and sealed. I recieved more 3/8" soft aluminum to redo the Fuel Pickup Tubes. Both were redone and replaced and I'm happy with the result. A final fitting and adjustment of the Fuel Senders (Image 3) and resistance was measured. Both senders show about 30 ohms in the full position and about 247 ohms in the empty position. I need to seal the access plates and fuel sender plates before final assembly of the Baffles and Attach Brackets. I will try a water test before final closure of the tanks.
