Brief Description: Left Flap Done and Left Wing Work
The J-Stiffeners were clecoed to the Left Wing. the specified size rivets were inserted and taped over. Now ready for the next time my riveting partner is able to help. The Trailing Edge of the Left Flap is now completely riveted and looks nice and straight. I did find a slight bit of oil-canning on the Top Inboard Section of the Flap Skin. Oil-canning means when you push on it, it springs in and pops back out (usually) when you release. Not a good thing in an aircraft flight surface. I was able to minimize the condition by removing 5 driven rivets along the most outboard rib and replacing them with blind rivets (no choice at this point). That section is far better now with no oil-canning.
