Brief Description:  Fabricate Tie-Down Bars + More Platenuts

I had to fabricate two tie-down bars from supplied stock material. One end was tapped for
a 3/8-16 bolt at a depth of 1"+. They were then match-drilled to each spar. Both bars were Alumiprep cleaned and Alodined. Four platenuts were added to each bar then the bars were bolted to the spar web. On the opposite side of the spar web, the Bell Crank Brackets were bolted on (bolt thru the tie-down bar and spar web into brackets. All bolts were torqued to specified values and red varnish was applied to treads (movement indicator).
Two larger platenuts were assembled to the inboard end of each main wing spar as part of fuselage attachment.
