The first application from yesterday is cured and hard as a rock! I mixed up another batch of epoxy but this time I mixed in enough FLOX (flocked cotton) to make a paste. The mix should not readily flow. I filled the tip with the mixture and covered it with a bit a 4-Mil plastic drop cloth. the plastic will not adhere to the epoxy mixture when it's cured and will peel off very easily. There is an added benefit to this method in that you can form the flox/epoxy mix very nicely with your fingers to get the exact shape you want.
