I wired the Elevator Trim Servo to a 25' 5-Conductor teflon sheathed cable. I used heat shrink butt splices for each of the five conductors. All splice joints were covered with heat-shrink tubing then used tie-wraps at each end as shown in Image 1. I'm a bit apprehensive about running the servo cable through the grommet as shown in Image 2 and 3. When the servo goes through it's full travel in one direction, the threaded rod coming out of the bottom of the servo extends into that same grommet in Image 2. It just seems counterintuitive to run a cable so close to a moving part. I decided to drill a small hole off to the side and install a small snap bushing for the cable.
