Brief Description: Freak Out!! The Elevator Horns !!
With the Left Elevator temporarily assembled, I decided to fit both elevators to the horizontal stabilizer. Both elevators were lined up precisely in trail... but the horns (white things) really got me worried when I saw that they were a few degrees out of alignment... I should have learned by now not to panic when I see something like this. I spent about 15 minutes online to find that this condition is very common and totally irrelevant. A hole will eventually be drilled between the horns to connect the control rod. The three large holes in the horns are lightening holes (holes that make it lighter) and do not need to line up and connect to something. Anyway, other than the brief freak-out, it's really quite satisfying to see some subassemblies come together in such a large piece of the plane!!
