Brief Description: Cleco Fwd Spar to Skin with Ribs
Riveted the two ribs to the forward spar (not having associated nose ribs) then clecoed the HS forward spar assemply to the right side skin. No problems except when it came time to use pop rivets on the middle rib-to-spar-to-nose-rib, I found that the head of the rivet puller would not get close enough to the rib to pull the rivet. After a little head scratching, I realized that I could un-cleco the rib from the skin and temporarily bend it out of the way. See Image 1. Earlier, when riveting the nose ribs to the bottom HS skin, I imparted my first dent with the rivet gun. Not pleasant but not a big deal. Whoever paints this plane will need a drop of Bondo.
